My beloved Mingus passed away on September 23, 2015. His decline happened very rapidly, in only a week's time. After repeated
visits to the vet, it was determined that he had advanced kidney failure, and, thus, was euthanized. This has been a very
painful experience and so unexpected.
I adopted Mingus from my Nephew in the Spring of 2014. He was a beautiful cat and a great comfort to me. He always greeted
me at the front door when I returned home, loved to jump on my lap for cuddling and petting, and would often sleep on my bed.
I often would tell him "You are a good cat, Mingus!"
I miss Mingus terribly, but I am grateful for the time we had together.
